West Loop Classes-Ages 3 to 6

Chicago Children’s Theatre’s classes for students Ages 3-6 encourage young artists to embrace their innate imaginations and acquire basic performance skills through creative drama. In classes exploring creative drama, movement, and song, young artists build artistic and life-learning skills that will have them confidently expressing themselves and collaborating with others.

Pre-K Performers: Heroes & Monsters | Spring 2022

Ages 3-4
Mondays, 4:00-5:00 PM CST at Chicago Children's Theatre (100 S Racine)

$150 | 6 sessions

Get your preschooler stage and school ready! Through theatre games, character creation, and creative drama activities exploring heroes and monsters, students will build confidence expressing their creative side, while expanding social and motor skills. Discover through theatre that monsters aren’t so scary, and heroes are all around us. On the last day, we will share some of our favorite parts of class with you!
Improv Storytelling | Spring 2022

Grades K-3
Tuesdays, 5:00-6:00 PM CST at Chicago Children's Theatre (100 S Racine)

$150 | 6 sessions

Get ready to shake out the nerves and take the stage as a confident and collaborative performer! Improvisation emboldens students to become un-scripted storytellers through theatre games, character creation activities, and acting exercises that spark creative play. On the last day, the West Loop's newest improv troupe will host their own mini-improv show right in their classroom!

Act, move, and dance in this lively theatre class for young performers! Through movement-based drama activities, circus arts, and dance, you will build confidence in expressing your creative side, while expanding social and motor skills. On the last day of class we will share some of our favorite parts of class with families!
