Spring & Summer Camps
Each Winter, Spring, and Summer, Chicago Children’s Theatre offers a variety of one and two week-long camp experiences for children ages 5–13.
The Education Department of Chicago Children’s Theatre aims to empower the next generation of creators, innovators, and collaborators. We believe that theatre education is the key to unlock young people’s creative spirit, to develop their confident voices, and to jumpstart the beginning of a better future. Our classes, camps, residencies, and community programs are led by compassionate and skilled theatre professionals who champion young people’s stories, inclusive of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities. By emphasizing student agency, critical problem solving, and social emotional learning, we seek to be the leader in theatre education for Chicago’s schools, families, and youth.
