Chicago Children’s Theatre is located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood on the Southwest Corner of South Racine Avenue and West Monroe Street.

Ways to Get Here
Driving
A few good ways to drive to Chicago Children’s Theatre include Lake Shore Drive, I-290, I-90, and Ashland Avenue.
Parking
Free Parking is available to patrons in our parking lot, which is located along the south wall of our building and can be accessed from Racine Avenue. Our lot may fill up on very busy days, but there is ample street parking available in the neighborhood, both free and metered.
Public Transportation
- You can take the Blue Line “L” Train to the Racine Stop.
- You can take the Green Line or Pink Line “L” Trains to the Morgan Stop.
- You can take the Madison “20” Bus to the corner of Madison Street and Racine Avenue.
- You can take the Jackson “126” Bus to the corner of Jackson Street and Racine Avenue.
Seating Information
All tickets will be picked up on the day of the performance at the Box Office in our lobby under the last name of the purchaser.
All seating is General Admission.
Late seating is available at the discretion of the House Manager. If you need to be seated after the performance has begun, your party may not all be able to sit together.

Our Lobby
Our lobby offers concessions for sale including coffee, juice, water, and snacks, as well as production related books, toys, and merchandise.
During productions our lobby will host show related activities and games and we have a great collection of toys and books for our patrons to enjoy. We encourage families to come to the theatre early to get settled and take advantage of our pre-show experiences.

If you are wanting to make a day out of your trip to Chicago Children’s Theatre, our neighborhood boasts a number of exciting activities for you to enjoy.
Building Accessibility
Our building has a ramp entrance located on the south side of our building. Every public space in our building is wheelchair and walker accessible and we have an elevator that guests can use to access the second floor.
There are locations in the building to park strollers during classes and performances. Due to safety regulations, strollers are not permitted inside the Studio Theatre during performances.
There are gender-neutral single-family bathrooms located on the first floor, and additional bathrooms on the second floor. All bathrooms contain changing tables for your convenience.
