On Friday, November 15, Chicago Children’s Theatre will celebrate 15 years serving our community as Chicago’s premier professional theatre company dedicated to children and families, with an emphasis on accessibility.
CCT’s annual P.O.P. (Power of Play) Gala will feature the best in West Loop dining, epic live and silent auctions, a program showcasing CCT’s mission, and dancing the night away.

The Breakfast Club is a high energy rock / dance 80’s tribute band, whose every song is a hit that brings the house down with spontaneous, exuberant ‘I know this song!’ singalongs. Moonwalk down memory lane with The Breakfast Club as they spin you right round to all the radical sounds, styles, and way cool dance steps from the 1980’s In over-the-top retro 80’s attire. The Power of Play
The P.O.P. Gala is part of a larger engagement initiative at CCT – Let’s Play: The Power of Play, redefining the importance of play, in all its forms from drama to creative intelligence to imagination. Since its launch, CCT has served more than 450,000 students and families with productions of the highest-caliber, and innovative classes and camps including groundbreaking programming for children on the autism spectrum and young people with special needs. Annually, CCT funds deeply reduced and free tickets for up to 20,000 school children from underserved communities across Chicago.
