Lincoln Park Classes

Chicago Children’s Theatre’s classes at Menomonee Club in Lincoln Park engage young artists’ boundless creativity and encourage the practice of collaboration, both onstage and off. From improv to musical theatre, students participate in a wide range of dynamic and high-quality classes at a convenient Lincoln Park location.

Acting Adventures: Seasons of Friendship with Frog and Toad at MCLP | Spring 2024

For ages 5-7

Take a trip through the calendar and explore the four seasons! Using “The Adventures of Frog and Toad” as a jumping off point, you’ll create original scenes, stories, and characters, all inspired by the woodland hijinks of the beloved Arnold Lobel books. Lessons include character study, working as an ensemble through movement and music, and the creation of our very own props. The last day of class will culminate in a performance to share your original stories with family and friends!
Triple Threat: Pop & Rock Musicals at MCLP | Spring 2024

Are you the next Broadway star? Or is singing in the shower more your speed? Either way, Triple Threat will have you leveling up your movement and vocal technique as you explore scene work and original choreography inspired by your favorite contemporary pop and rock musicals, like American Idiot and SIX. On the last day of class, you will perform some favorite songs and scenes for family and friends!
