Chicago Children’s Theatre’s classes for students in Grades 6-8 challenge young artists to tell stories from their own experiences and from the world around them. In classes exploring multimedia, film, devising, and advanced acting, young artists build artistic and life-learning skills to engage with art, media, and their world thoughtfully and critically. Each session features a mini performance for friends and family on the final day of class!

Designed for young people on the autism spectrum, this lively theatre class will encourage you to take the stage as a confident and collaborative performer! Improvisation teaches students how to become un-scripted storytellers, develop listening skills, and communicate as an ensemble, all while stretching the imagination and having a ton of fun. In the final class, you will host your own mini-improv show right in your classroom!
