Jordan David Wallace

Jordan David Wallace is the Education & School Partnerships Manager at Chicago Children’s Theatre. Jordan is a performer, producer, and teaching artist from Chicago and a graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University with a BFA in Acting. With training in clowning, mask, and physical theater, they have taught and led residencies for South Chicago Dance Theater, Congo Square Theatre, Steppenwolf, and TimeLine Theatre. As a collaborator, Jordan integrates devising into their teaching, encouraging students to draw from their own lived experiences to create ensemble work. Influenced by Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed, they believe in the power of collective storytelling to build understanding and community. They are also the proud parent of a sweet kitty named Tooka!
