In this camp for older youth, we will devise an entirely original show in the tradition of Chicago’s unique theatre scene. Participants will access their unique voices and storytelling abilities through learning Forum Theatre, Playback, and Improv techniques. The curriculum will emphasize empowering students to speak about their true stories, and to use theatre as a rehearsal for changing the world. The two week intensive will culminate in a performance for families and friends at CCT’s Pritzker Family Studio.
