Our work is to impact the children of the world through the arts, even as they teach and inspire us. In Italy, children are making handmade artworks with a rainbow and the phrase “Andrà tutto bene” – Everything will be okay. Paper and scraps of fabric hang in windows and pictures are shared across social media, showing the resilience of our community and our children.

We want you to help us share this global message of hope and unity by joining CCT’s “Everything Will Be Okay” community art project.

Here’s how YOU can help spread light and bolster community and connection during this time of isolation!

• Choose one of our rainbow templates below with the phrase “Everything Will Be Okay” in languages from across the world. OR make your own original rainbow using the materials you have at home!

Color, create, decorate! Watch Ms. Caleigh’s tutorial video below for ideas and instructions!  Create rainbow artwork that is as unique as you!

• Display your artwork in your window at home to share your message of love with your community AND send a photo to us on social media so we can share your artwork with our community too!

Please share photos of your rainbow artwork by tagging us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. You can help us spread the word and connect with our global community by using our hashtags in your post:

Join CCT in celebrating Autism Awareness for the month of April!

CCT is committed to serving children with autism and their families during this exceptionally challenging and isolating time. To combat the feeling of isolation, that is often so familiar for children with autism, we are launching this project to connect to our community through music.

Here’s how you can help spread joy and awareness by singing the Red Kite song with us!

• Watch or listen to the “Fly Red Kite Fly” song and practice the hand movements with the video below!

Make your own video! Make a video of you doing the movements and singing the song. You can do one movement, the whole song, or just your favorite part! However, you want to move and make music is what we want to see!

Share your post and share your video on social media and tag us!
• @chicagochildrenstheatre @redkiteproject

• Invite or tag 3 friends and invite them to make their video to join the Red Kite Fly@Home Challenge!
