Elijah Islam

Elijah Islam (he/him) is a creator of all things: art, theatre, music, writing, you name it! He is currently a third-year early graduate at The Theatre School at DePaul University, majoring in Theatre Arts and minoring in Creative Writing. At CCT, he has served as the Music Education Apprentice during Summer Camp. When he’s not helping students learn how to carry a tune or conjure up some lyrics, Elijah’s probably working on writing his own EP, perfecting his snickerdoodle recipe, or searching for his next big break! Above all else, Elijah believes in art that nurtures and inspires the youth; not everybody is going to be a theatre maker, but he believes that we can at least raise a generation of ensemble members that will use what they learn with him to foster a creative and supportive community.
