About the Show
The perfect way to kick off your family’s holiday festivities! Children of all ages are cordially invited to dress up and enjoy a spot of hot cocoa (or tea) with CCT’s friends from the English Lake District at the The Beatrix Potter Holiday Tea Party. Spend the day with Peter Rabbit, Mr. Jeremy Fisher and Simpkin the cat as they delight audiences in this interactive trunk and puppet show. Children and parents are invited to the stage following the performance to pull levers and turn cranks, revealing images that surprise and delight.
Guests exit into the lobby, which will transform into a Victorian-style dining hall where they will enjoy cocoa and cookies, beautiful decor, and have the rare opportunity to meet and pose for photos with the cast. This family-friendly event is a delight for theatre lovers of all ages!
*If you have special seating accommodations, please inform the Box Office 72 hours before your performance.
For guests attending any performance of The Beatrix Potter Holiday Tea Party who are blind or have low vision, we will offer a guided tour of the production at 10:30am on Saturday, December 16. This touch-tour allows for a deeper connection and understanding of the performance. Children and adults alike are allowed to touch portions of the scenery, props, and costumes while also meeting the cast and listening to them describe their characters and appearance. Sign up for the touch tour on December 16 at 10:30am for The Beatrix Potter Holiday Tea Party here!
On Sunday, December 17, we will offer sensory friendly performances at both 11:30am and 3:00pm. A quiet room and family restroom will be available.
Information regarding ASL and audio described performances is coming soon!
