West Loop Classes-Grades 1 to 2

Chicago Children’s Theatre’s classes for students in Grades 1-2 engage their boundless creativity and encourage the practice of collaboration, both onstage and off. In our Acting Adventures series, young artists will create thrilling stories, tenacious characters, and nail-biting conflicts with the guidance and mentorship of professional theatre artists.

In Create a Character, young performers explore using their body, voice, and imagination to take the stage as characters inspired by their favorite heroes and villains from media and mythology. After a semester jam-packed with theatre games and ensemble building activities, students will share their favorite parts of their artistic process with friends and family in an informal sharing.
