Kate Leslie

Kate Leslie is an MFA candidate as a member of the Playwright’s Lab at Hollins University and currently living in Chicago where she works as a teacher, director, and playwright. Kate has been playing music since she was young and loves incorporating music and singing into teaching. In 2016, Emerald City Theatre commissioned Mother Goose’s Garden, an interactive play she created for very young audiences. Kate enjoyed writing original songs inspired by nursery rhymes. Kate has worked as a teacher with other companies in the city including Northlight, Brain Arts, Mudlark, and Bubbles Academy.
