Braden Cleary (he/him/his) is a teaching artist that focuses on creating theater in collaboration with individuals with developmental differences, including young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder with The Red Kite Project at Chicago Children’s Theatre. Braden most recently adapted and directed Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors for A.B.L.E. – an ensemble that creates theatre and film projects for, with, and by individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental differences where he has the privilege of serving as a teaching artist. Past teaching experience includes Columbia College Chicago Center for Community Arts Partnerships, Mudlark Theatre, and Chicago Youth Shakespeare. Braden is currently working towards his registration as a Drama Therapist. (Bio as of 2020)
