We’re excited to expand our educational programming to families in Lincoln Park this March! From March 23 – June 9, we’ll offer two acting for the stage classes at the Menomonee Club at 1535 N Dayton St. near the Apple Store.

Classes take place at the Menomonee Club in Lincoln Park (close to the Apple Store) at 1535 N Dayton St., Chicago.

Acting for the Stage
Mondays, 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Grades K – 1

In this theatre class, students will start to explore the creation of character and narrative. This class prepares performers to take the stage and encourages confidence in collaborative play. This class culminates in an open workshop of the class and short scenes. So come and tell exciting stories, make new friends, and create wonderful worlds. Wield a sword, fly to the sun, build a kingdom, live underwater, battle giants, and befriend beasts. Travel the universe!

In this theatre class, students will start to explore the creation of character through short scenes. This class prepares performers to take the stage and encourages confidence in collaborative play and devising of their own work. This class culminates in the student’s performance of their own original plays that are written in collaboration with the teaching artists. So come and tell exciting stories, make new friends, and create wonderful worlds. Wield a sword, fly to the sun, build a kingdom, live underwater, battle giants, and befriend beasts. Travel the universe!
