Teaching Artist

Chicago Children’s Theatre is calling for Teaching Artists who are excited about teaching acting, musical theatre, music, devised theatre, or other forms of performance.

We’re also looking for crafts-people with skills in mask making, puppet construction, pageantry, parade objects, film making, and/or robotics.

We are looking for experienced teachers as well as unique artists excited about collaboratively developing dynamic, original curriculum. Preferred candidates have 1-3 years of experience on prominent stages with professional directors and theaters.

Our teaching artists work with us year round through classes, camps, and school residencies.

Interviews will take place at The Station (100 S Racine) from 9am-5pm, August 6-10.
