Discounted Tickets for Groups at Chicago Children’s Theatre!
Chicago Children’s Theatre provides high-quality, professional productions to children and families of all ages. We offer discounted ticket prices to public and community groups to make our productions accessible and affordable to all. Group tickets are a great option for birthday parties, clubs, playdate groups, and scouting groups!
Public or Community Group minimum = 20 people

Public and Community Group Sales FAQs
Q: How much do Group Tickets cost?
A: Group tickets range in price depending on group size and ticket availability. Generally, the more people in the group, the lower the ticket price!
Q: How do I book group tickets?
A: Please contact Guest Services. You will need to know the following:
- What show you’d like to see
- How many children and adults will be attending
- What performance dates and times you can attend
- Any accessibility needs your group may have
Q: Is there a contract that completes the agreement between CCT and our group?
A: Potentially. A Group Reservation Agreement will be sent via email after arranging the details of your reservation. This document will outline payments and due dates, performance time, and ticket totals.
Q: Is a deposit required?
A: No. However, your group seats are not officially reserved until an initial payment of at least 50% of the total balance due is received and processed by CCT. The amount and date due will be indicated on your Group Reservation Agreement document.
Q: How and when will I receive confirmation of my reservation?
A: After completing the online Community Group Reservation Request Form, you will be contacted by our Group Sales Coordinator to discuss pricing and availability. When all of the details have been arranged, you will receive a Group Reservation Agreement.
Q: Are there any fees when purchasing group tickets?
A: Each group sale incurs a flat $10 processing fee.
Q: When is payment due?
A: Full payment is due at least 4 weeks (20 business days) prior to your scheduled attendance date. Payment can be made by major credit card or by a check sent to our administrative offices.
Q: Will each person in my group receive an individual printed ticket?
A: Yes. Your tickets will be held under the Group or Group Leader’s name at the Box Office. You may pick up your group tickets starting 30 minutes prior to the scheduled performance time.
Q: Can I make adjustments to the number of tickets I request for my group?
A: Pending availability, slight adjustments in group tickets may be accommodated without penalty prior to full payment or 2 weeks in advance of the performance, whichever is first. Final payment must reflect the amount of tickets agreed upon at the the 4-week deadline.
Q: Is there reserved seating for groups?
A: No. Our performances are General Admission, so your group should plan to arrive when the house opens so you may select seats together. The house opens approximately 30 minutes prior to the scheduled performance time.
Q: Can I be reimbursed for unused group tickets?
A: No, all sales are final.
